Bruce M. Venter, Fort Plain Museum Board of Trustee Member states, "Heretofore, most Robert Rogers biographers have slavishly worshipped his exploits without an objective eye. Many fail to see him as a fraudster, among other things. Martin Klotz's new book promises a fresh look at the ranger commander who initiated many less than stellar operations during his career. Fort Plain Museum supporters will want to hear Klotz's analysis of this historical figure who continues to be largely overrated by his fan base."
Martin Klotz is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, served as a federal prosecutor, then, in private practice, represented investment professionals in criminal and regulatory investigations of securities trading. He also devoted substantial time to representing indigent criminal defendants on a pro bono basis. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
