A discussion of the traditional Iroquoian planting of the 3 sisters; beans, corn, and squash. Bringing into focus resources from our own early American library at the Fort as well as the important influences on early organic farming practices and techniques. All of which have a part in the modern movement of farm to table agriculture. Links and information will be shared on how you too can apply these valuable techniques in your own gardens, small, large, container or raised beds.
