Opening Day Today!

Join Board of Trustee, Peter Couser as he shows his 18th Century Collection. Pete will have over 100 items of military and way-of-life artifacts on display. 

The Museum has exhibits on the American Revolution in the Mohawk Valley, Revolutionary War Fort Plain/Fort Rensselaer, Native Americans, and much more.

Take a self-guided walking tour of the Fort hilltop and visit many of the sites that once was from 1779 through about 1800. Included are new walking/hiking trails on the original 1700's military road that include the colonial military road bridge site and early 1800's dam and more.

The book store is stocked with many new local and national titles about the American Revolution, Native Americans and more. A wide selection of 18th century colonial games and toys are available.

The Museum will open 7 days a week, 10 AM to 4 PM.  

Regular admission is $5Seniors/Students are $4Children under 18 are freeResidents from the Town of Minden/Village of Fort Plain are free.
